A few months ago, a nice gentleman here was "skinned" when he bought a supposedly excellent condition Spanish 20 GA SxS. When it arrived, the bore was filled with crud and badly pitted. I offered to take it off his hands as a "wall-hanger" to use in our DFG Hunter Safety Classes. When it arrived, I took a good look at it and decided to hit it with a brake hone and see what came of it. Many hours later I had a bright shiny but pitted bore. Today, a friend of mine took two Chukkar with it. It shoots just fine although admittedly, the trigger pull is way too heavy and the gun is so light it spanks the shooter pretty hard. I just thought some of you might be interested so I wrote this up. I posted it to the wrong index first and it got trashed. I hope I got it right this time.
