I'm tired of waiting for the line to clear and walking downrange to check my targets. I feel like I deserve a spotting scope for Christmas and I need some advice or pointers on getting a decent one. I don't want to go over a hundred bucks if that's possible.

A local Sporting Goods store called Big 5 is having a sale on a Winchester variable power spotting scope for $99. It supposedly has a list price of $250.

I bought one several months ago when they had the price down to $99 and can say the optics (and the padded aluminum case) are excellent.

Some store in your area might be offering the same deal.

Thanks. I got a Bushnell at K's Merchandise for $69.00 clearance. Now I'll be spoiled at the range. This scope really brings things up close.
