I finished the last rifle in the project pile tonight. Really stoked about that. The sear spring had broken. Good thing I had some pallet banding.

A little measuring, a little cutting, a little bending, a little filing...wham-o! It works beautifully. Now to make some smoke with this old girl. Love shooting the antiques.

I like the brick banding material, it will cold work pretty well for most things and still be a spring when you're done. Made dozens of internal springs for pinfire rubber band pistols using pallet bands when I was a kid.
