Here is one I just finished for those of you that like buffalo horns ( or Bison if you will ).
Its 12ins. overall and has a horn spout plug, horn inlays on the base plug and an antler ring on the threaded plug in the base. I also used horn pins to secure the base plug.

Thanks Swampy. I was beginning to think I had bit off more than I could chew on this one and then suddenly it all came together. I hate to say it but I kinda impressed myself this time :shocked2:

And you should be.

IMHO, St. Louis style horns are few and far between, and yours is an especially nice one.

God bless

Very appreciated JD and Chilidog. But I have to admit there is nothing in the world that can keep you humble like an ol' lumpy bumpy scaly buff horn.

Very well done and you should be proud of that one! Very cool.

That is a very nicely done horn.

I gotta agree with GW tho, the white hurts my eyes. Some wood with nice figure would be more to my tastes, but that's just personal preference. It's a beautiful horn.

What makes a horn St. Lois style? I'm kind of a horn dummy. Don't believe I ever heard that before.

Thanks for all the comments.
Jethro, what makes it a St Louis horn is the style of the base plug and the use of the white on the black buffalo horn. Thats about all I know.
