This one is what they call a "belt" knife. I put a hand rubbed finish on the blade. 1/8" nickel pins,I hand peen & dome them,then try to leave a nice hammered finish. They are smooth to the hand. This is India Sambar slabs. Knife has a "saddle" in the slabs for a righty and ring & pinky finger spot,indented,on the other side. Both those details are hard for me to capture in a photo,but are natural to the slabs.Just had to flip flop them around to get a good feel to it. I made this as a gift for a young guy
I know, in NC hoping to lift his moral.

A knife for "a young guy"? He'd be proud to have it! :thumbsup: Actually, did the same for a friends son this weekend (wanted one like dad. I made his for Christmas 2 years ago). Making the sheath for it now. It gets them interested in this sport.... :hatsoff:
