Started to shoot my Traditions pistol and it is hard to load so I took scrap walnut and oak to make a stand so it is easy to load. Rain keeps me from testing.
Maybe I can get my camera to work so I can add a picture.

Smart. I made one over thirty years ago that can support C&B revolvers and single shot pistols. Made from scrap pine and looks like crap but it functions. I'm sure yours is prettier. One of the more useful items I made for the hobby.

I made one out of scraps too. It will work with all of my pistols. Here are some of them with the stand.

Yeah, I agree, I've made a couple of them out of oak boards and they are worth the effort for sure. This is the one I use the most.

There are a couple of threads on this if you are savvy with the search function on this forum. I'm not so great with it myself, but it does work... Here are a few pics of one that I built for my flintlock pistol...

I made this one large enough so that I can fit the balls, patches, cleaning supplies, flints, powder... everything that I'd need at the range. I have it all loaded up now and ready to go, but haven't put it to use yet!
