I know you bunch like pics and problems to solve. Here are both. Starr 1858-1860 original with original grips. There is a dovetailed metal attached to bottom ,looks home made in civil war time. a screw broken off (not the problem lolol) Does anyone know how the rifle stock fitted to Starr. Was a metal for the dovetail on top of a stock or bottom. was there additional attachment to main frame? It seems like brass type metal with dovetail. OH does anyone have the riflestock stuck in their attic somewhere? lol Any info is welcomed thanks guys.
