Well, this week, I started finishing my Kibler Colonial.
Some really good sanding being mindful not to get beneath the depth of some of the brass parts or "recurve" any of the surfaces.
Used a nice coat Laurel Mountain stock stain and I must say, it's looks pretty dang good.
A little light "scotchbriting" and I'll apply the first finish sealer coats.

I'm truly on the fence about browning the barrel.
I kinda like the way it looks in the white.

Anyone hear if Jimmy is moving along with his proposed Fowler kit or is that dead in the water?

No updates on the Kibler fowler, however, they said it would be Fall before they would update or release any info on their progress.
Nothing suggests the fowler is dead in the water.

According to what I was informed, late fall/December. Not 2nd/3rd person/Forum/barroom information. Of course there can always be delays due to "Murphy's Law"!
