State Shoot in Brady, Texas

The competition FROST ON THE CACTUS SHOOT is next weekend for anyone interested in coming. Its a fun weekend of shooting and seeing others that enjoy black powder. It's the 13th 14th and 15th. There is a campground adjacent. There is more information on the TMLRA website.

Pack warm, weather can be brutally cold and rain.

Unless the forecast changes, it is going to be nice for a change. Certainly was cold and windy last year.

It is either too cold to get out of folks trailers or the City has to send a tractor to pull everyone out from the mud.

Would be nice to see good weather.

The weather was nice and winds were lower than usual. There were 36 shooters and every one had a good time. I don't have the scores but there was some good shooting there.

If you can shoot in Brady, you can compete any where.
