A quick question and hopfully a quick response.
I am picking up a stock blenk that has just recently been milled.
I know that you should coat the ends to prevent splitting while drying - right.
Good, what with? And for how long if I don't have a moisture meter?
Also is it necessary to coat the entire blank of just the ends.
Some suppliers say that their blank has been wax coated.
What is that?
Thanks in advance.
