Will a TC Renagade stock work with a new englander. I know the trigger guards are different but are the guard plates the same size and are the screw holes at the same place. Will everything else match up as well.

Thanks

So are both stocks cut to the shape of each brl. Are the other things like the trigger guard the same length or size. There is one I found for sale cheap if it works.

thanks

Just for grins, I pulled out my New Englander and Renegade, and tried a barrel switch. The Renegade barrel won't go into the NE stock - not even close, and the NE barrel won't go into the Renegade stock - again, not even close. the breech hooks are different sizes and the bolster & nipple arrangement is different. Even if the barrel would fit, the wedge tenons would not line up with the wedge slots in the stock. It's a hopeless cause.

So which did you find cheap? The Renegade or the other? I may have a use for a cheap Renegade stock!
