Stump Shooting in the Rockies

There is no better practice technique for hunting than stump shooting. Been doing it for years with my longbows, and realized how much fun it is with the flintlock.

The dog likes the 20 ga. shotgun more than the rifle. He looks for the bird after the shot, but can't find it!

His name was Buster. I used to take him out when he was a puppy and walk the rr tracks and irrigation ditches to bust pheasant. When I would bust one, he would run in that direction a few feet, and then turn around and look at me like, "well, what are you waiting for??".
