What might be a substitute for water soluble maching oil for making "moose milk"? I can only find the oil in bulk form, much more than I would ever use.

Go to NAPA and get it. They have it in quart or gallon. Also they may have some Sta-Lube brand & it is part# SL2512 and it is the same thing. A quart will make a gallons of moose-milk. If ya can't find it there email me & I can get ya some in necessary. Or you may go to any small machine shot & buy a quart of it from sthem, as they all use it. [email protected].

Also, about 6 ounces of Non-aerosol Ballistol in a gallon of water makes some good moose-milk too. Some are using 4, some 6, some 8 ounces in it, just depends on the guy.

Also napa carrys mac's number 13 which is already mixed in a 12 ounce bottle. Its a radiator rust preventer.Cost about 1.50 to 2.00 bucks a bottle.I belive they use a better oil in this stuff with out the additves the grinding oil has. Some slick stuff.
