First, thanks for the info and comments. It's always a learning experience. Now for the second part of this question ; I've seen numerous cross sectional drawings of a swamped barrel....as the muzzle end of the barrel begins to flare, does the bore flare ( open up ) with it or does the bore remain the same and there is more weight with the thicker barrel ? I hope this question makes sense........
