I would like to try a can of 3F Swiss, but cannot find a dealer. I tried calling 'The Jag Shop' spose to be a distributor, but only got diconnected. :(

I live in the central lower, between Lansing and GR.

My 36 is begging to try some!

Thanks! ::

I was in a gun shop in Lansing a couple of weeks ago, Classic Arms. I think they had some swiss powder. They had a couple of different types, but as I was looking for Goex, which they had, I did not pay much attention to exactly what it was they had. You could try them (517.484.6112). If I get a chance this weekend, I will swing by and see what they have.

I was in there about the same time looking for some T7 in 3f, don't remember seeing the swiss, But, I will give them a call.

Thanks for the number!

Swiss is some seriously sweet powder. Got to use some recently, nice and worth the price. The German Scheutzen powder is great stuff as well.

Just :m2c:

Not to hi-jack the thread but this Swiss is real gun powder and not like Goex or the others right ?

Goex is REAL Black powder too. Swiss is just a Sporting grade powder and is a bit hotter and faster burning, so you need to reduce your load by 15-20 percent.

Classic Arms in Lansing typically carries Swiss. Expect to pay around $18-20 or so a pound for retail.

It really is worth the money in my view. Much better than Goex BP IMHO. Goex is very good, but it's not Swiss.

FFFG (3FG) Excellent!

I buy mine from www.powderinc.com

5 pounds delivered is $115.25
10 pounds delivered is $192.50
25 pounds delivered is $420.25

Tahquamemon,
I have always shot Goex, but want to try sime Swiss, especially in my small bores. I had a very old can of 3F and my 36 loved it, when I went to my new can, the group size doubled at 25 yds.

If I like it, then I will order a case from powderinc, Thanks,
Bruce
