SXS with only one lock?

I've come across a very peculiar (to me at least) system for SXS utilizing one lock and what appears to be a split frizzen. These gun come from the Caucasus and I'm wondering if this kind of system was used elsewhere? I'm not well versed in SXS or double guns in general, so input is appreciated.

I don't know anything about the pistol other than by the looks of it both barrels fired at the same time.

Are there different touch holes for the split frizzen? Even so, I would think that the flash of one pan would set off the charge in the second pan.

Only guessing here but I assume there's a cross vent between the barrels.
