Well, I've been playing around with this New Englander 12 Ga for quite some time now. Finally got to take her out in the woods for Fox Squirrels. Got two missed two more. The misses were due to quick shots on running rats. Missed but the squirrels sat and watched me reload before leaving the area. I won't make that mistake again. I must say that was the most enjoyable squirrel hunt ever. I'll never use my pump 12 Ga. again. I am hooked forever now!!!!

 Yessir,

It's a lot more fun with black powder, ain't it? I never use anything else for small game anymore, except an old 16-gauge Model 12 my father left me and I only take it out once a year or so.

Yes, My passion has always been black powder arms and hunting. This was my first time with a shotgun. That is all I will use from now on.

My Remington 11-87 has been retired for several years (slug & shot) but I still take my beloved Ithaca/SKB 20 SXS out a few times for grouse even though I truly enjoy my T/C New Englander (especially after CoyoteJoe jug choked the cylinder bore to a better pattern).

Thanks guys...I'm gonna do it again after work tomorrow. OOPS!!! gotta vote first. Maybe I'll get head of the line.
