Hi all,
I was stoked when I found what was billed as a .50 smoothbore T/C Renegade, so I jumped on it.
Wasn't until a little while later that I noticed that the barrel was a 15/16" and the stock, being a Renegade was made for 1" barrels. It fit nice and snug enough for me to not notice anything being off when I put the barrel in.
I didn't shoot it in that configuration, though.
Fortunately, I had an extra Hawken stock and just swapped it over, but it got me to thinking about what could have been had I not noticed it fairly early.
Anyone got any thoughts/real world experience?
Cheers,
dgfd
