I bought a TC Hawken used and it turned out to have the nipplethreads stripped. So I sent it in to TC. They replaced the breech plug no charge. However, when I got the barrel back the underlug had come off and it had Williams fiber optic sights on it. It also had a sling swivel ferrule on it. I called this morning and talked to man in charge of the repair shop and he varified that I had the correct barrel. Hed said "Ron worked on that barrel and must have put the wrong parts back on." He said he would priority mail new original sights and ferrule and that I should just keep the ones that were on it.
They did test fire the barrel and said it shot a 1 3/4 in. group using 370g maxiballs and 80g ffg.
Some I guess their mistake is my gain. They were very nice about everything.

TC's lifetime policy attitude is just unbelievable...any other company would have said:
"sorry, you stripped them, send a MO for $85 and we'll replace the plug & reblue the barrel".
And from your experience, they obviously stand behind their litle goof ups too.

Suggestion?
Take a minute to scratch out a complimentary thank you note to the Service Manager, Tim Pancurak...they're people too and appreciate hearing positive feedback.
