Hello from Germany!

About 4 weeks ago I was able to buy a as new and not shooten T/C Hawken, .54 capgun from the classified ads. Last week it arrived here in Germany. It is a real nice and high quality rifle, my first T/C product. Tomorrow I'll go at the range for the first time. Will give a report and show pics.

Regards

I have 3 T/c Muzzleloaders all great shooters. their a very well made rifle. enjoy my friend and were waiting for a full range report.

I have 4 T/C Rifles including a Hawken. All shoot VERY well. My Favorite is my T/C Renegade (A slightly modified Hawken) and that because its a .54 VS the other three .50's
:hatsoff:

Congradulations Dirk! I know you've been wanting a .54 for awhile. As you know, I have a .54 T/C Hawkens. The .530 ball and pillow ticking (.018") patch is too tight for my bore. Roundball suggested I try some .520 balls, but I'm going to try some .010" patches first. It's a real tack driver with the 380 grain Lee REAL Bullet and the 400 grain T/C Maxi Balls. With all the rifles you've bought, I hope you got something for the wife to keep her happy :rotf:

You mentioned keeping the wife happy. This brings up a "Rudyism". Rudy Oiler was well known in buckskinning circles for his involvement in so many activies. He once said:" I got to feeling guilty about going to a different rendezvous every weekend while my wife spent all week end mowing the lawn. So I bought her a Bigger lawn mower, now it only takes her 1/2 the weekend! " :blah: :blah:

You should get many years of good service out of that rifle. I have been shooting mine for over thirty years. I think you made a good choice.

Obviously, a result of quality "sensitivity training" !

I'm SO impressed, that I think I'll raise my feet, now - when my wife vacuums.

BTW - Congrats on your .54 ! :hatsoff:

If it shoots anywhere near as well as my .54 T/C Renegade, you'll be a happy camper, for sure.

You will really love your new TC 54 cal rifle. I just picked up a Green Mountain RB barrel for my TC 54 cal Hawken. Hope to get it out to the range soon. Just waiting for the snow to melt down a little more.

Congratulations on your new rifle, Kirrmeister, you'll like that one.

:hatsoff:
