T/C Hawken hunting load

I got me a Hawken a can of Goex, some .490 round balls, some pillow ticking and some desire. What is a good starting point for a hunting load?

When ever I change my shot line up (patch material, cast lot, ect) I drop back to 70grs or 2FF. Working up 5 grains at a time till I see a good ballance of power and accuracy.

FYI...TC makes a free owner's manual for their firearms that has some good info in, load data tables in the back, etc.

Although there are lots of different charges and projectiles, my .50cal Flintlock loads for weekend plinking and deer hunting are as follows:

TARGETS
50grns Goex 3F
Any .015" plain cotton or .018" TC pillow ticking patches
Hornady .490

DEER HUNTING
90grns Goex 3F
Oxyoke Wonderwad
.018" TC pillow ticking patches
Hornady .490
