T/C Hawken Patchbox?

I picked up a used one to refurbish. The patchbox door hangs open about 1/8- 3/16 inch. what is the best way to correct this so it closes tightly? Thanks.

I would either replace or re-bend the flat spring that holds the door closed tight.

First step is figuring out why it's not closing. Is it binding somewhere? Will it close, but then flops open 1/8"? Will it not close all the way? More data is needed.

It closes and otherwise looks normal. seems like a weak spring.
