Sorta looks like a Renegade with a different trigger guard. Keep on experimentin'!

The PA hunter stock is a thinner stock then the heavy renegade stock

you must be the one who outbid me for that stock on ebay! looks good, betcha it shoots nice too...

Is this a 1" across the flats barrel?Would a PA hunter barrel fit in a renegade stock?

PA Hunters use 15/16" barrels, right?

All Renegades have 1" barrel beds.

Round Ball is correct the PA Hunter stock is 15/16
you can also use the White Mountain Stock I think it the same as the PA hunter.
I found now the gun has a sleeker look a little more drop in the stock ,easy on the eyes to pick up the iron sights,I also installed and fitted the older steel butt plate of the renegade and used a trigger from the New Englander.

Last week I bought a New Englander stock on eBay and put all my GreyHawk parts into it. All that stainless steel looks a lot better in a walnut stock...a lot better than the black plastic original. Seems to have a better feel to the rifle, too.

I have 2 renegades and another stock.Never saw a PA hunter in this part of the country.Lots of hawkens and renegades at the gun shows but anything else is rare.I like the way those octagon to round barrels look.I guess this means I'll have to buy another gun.

While on the subject of PH stocks, are they and White Mtn carbine stock identical in size? In the TC catalog they appear to be the same, but of course there may be some subtle difference.
