Really nice leather bag with a woven adjustable strap and a fully lined double-style construction. Flap is adorned with 3 inset wool hearts and closed with a plain pewter button. Bag is as new, unused with a very supple feel throughout. Opening is 6 inches wide and bag is nicely square at 6 inches deep.

Asking $120 shipped in the US. PM for details.

Love that bag. It appears to be about 7" wide, but how deep? Is there any way you could remove those D rings and attach the straps directly to the bag like originals? (I've never seen a documented 18th C. bag with metal rings.)

Thanks.

Indeed a very nice bag, with pleasant color and a nice feel. Oversight on my part not giving the dimensions: 6 inches wide and 6 inches deep.
I am not the artisan who made these bags. I would guess that pulling off the tabs and d-rings would be possible, but beyond my skills

I also like the double fold style, but have too many bags and am putting together funds for a (hopeful) future rifle purchase.
