I would like to sell my TC 54cal Renagade perc.rifle. It has Lyman (57) adj peep sight-excellent condition.I would like to know the approx value of rirle. Thanks Ernie

Those should be easy to get an estimated value of I see them for sale on Auction Arms and Gun Broker all the time.I would check those sites out.

That is good advice.

Here in Northern California very good used Renegades (Without extra sight) sell for up to $300 to $350 at local gunshows. However, they often go unsold. Might be better to sell it in the spring.

At a recent good gunshow a very nice double set trigger, factory finished .54 Renegade went unsold at $275 asking price.

After reseaching as suggested; you might try listing it on a bid basis or fixed price on this site's classifieds. Not sure, but looks like it does not cost anything?

Just my 2 cents. :winking:

You are correct.
It doesn't cost anything to advertise in the Forums Classified Ads.

I learned a long time ago that the true value of a gun is how much you can sell it for and not a penny more.
That said, I should note here that our Classified Ads can be set up for a auction style of bidding.
If someone is truly wanting to sell something they can go to the Classified area of the forum and set up their ad.

zonie :)

I think it would be worth $275-$325. Most gun store will put your gun on consignment and sell it for you. Ask them to mark it up and see if it will see for Xmas.

For what it's worth...this is usually the worst possible time of year to be trying to sell a hunting rifle like a Renegade and expect to get the best price...markets are being flooded with used rifles now that hunting seasons are closing, Christmas expenses are on people, then tax time hits, then fishing & camping season...July/August/September is usually the best time of year and brings the highest prices
