Could someone tell me the difference between these two TC rifles?

I heard that the New Englander can be made into a single shot shotgun, but can't any of the TC rifles be made into one of these with the proper Green Mountain barrel?

Thanks,

Patrick

Two radically different designs...the NE being more of a modern looking flat butt shotgun style sort of a stock, the Hawken with its curved buttplate & brass patchbox being more reminiscent of what a traditional ML might have looked like.

Yes, GM makes .54(.28ga) and .62(.20ga) drop in barrels for the two different size Hawken stocks.

Nothing alike. The Hawken has a 28" octagon barrel the New Englander has a 34" or 26" all round barrel. The New Englander is available in .50 ca, .54 cal, and .12 ga. Also only in caplocks.
