REDS, as far as if it is a screw in or a press in sight I can’t help you but there are others who would know, Bubba50 being one of the T/C gurus on this forum. If it is the screw in type of bead, there is a special tool that will take it off without damaging it. It is called a Shotgun Front Sight Installer. I bought mine from Brownells but I would think other companies sell them too.
Good luck..

BTW, a while back I purchased a Pedersoli 12 double with a broken sight. It had enough of the base that I was able to file a groove in it and unscrew it to install a new one I ordered online. I didn’t have the sight vise so wrapped the new one with some deerskin leather and installed it with a needle nose vise grip.
