This gun started life as a .56 smoothbore. I changed barrel to a brand new TC Pennsylvania Hunter 1-66 barrel - 28.5 inches long. BUT old barrel was 1 inch, new one 15/16. Tang and hammer fit fine though. I bedded barrel in a couple spots - there is a 1/32 inch grey line next to barrel. Lock and triggers work crisply. Lock has nice casehardened colors - photo makes it look grey for some reason. I shot this new barrel about 10 shots, cleaned well, oiled heavily, it's been in my safe for a couple years as my interests have shifted to fullstock rifles. Excellent bore. Stock has a few dings here and there, nothing deep, no cracks, LOP about 13.5 inches. Orig ramrod is a little short as it went with old barrel. Good solid gun for shooting round ball. $325 shipped to lower 48 states only where legal. No trades, post office MO preferred.
