Thanks for the thoughts on the remodel and the buck. He was a 5X5, but not much in the mass department. Still, the best buck I ever killed with a muzzleloader. The package for the peep sight was marked as being a CVA product as I recall. I found it in the hunting department of a sporting goods store in Pierre, South Dakota several years ago and it looked like it had hung on their rack for at least a few years before that based on the dust covering the package. I can't find anything in their current catalog exactly like it. It is sized for a 15/16 inch flat surfaced barrel and CVA doesn't make any muzzleloaders with barrels like that anymore.
