TC replacement lock?

I'm wondering if L&R is the only replacement percussion lock available for thr Thompson Ctr. Hawken?

I don’t know, but there’s nothing wrong with a TC percussion lock.

I would definitely go with TC in percussion, they work just fine. I haven't used a L&R percussion but can say from using one the flint version definitely isn't a drop in.

Yep. The flint replacement lock requires extra inletting.

The L&R percussion needs extra inletting as well. With the one I did, once I crossed that hurdle it was a drop in and ready to go. The extra inletting didn't affect being able to swap back to the TC lock.

I've never seen a different maker offer a direct RPL lock for Thompson.
It's all about the plate right(?)

If it's a part that's broken you might be able to find a "parts' lock on the internet. My T/C lock is still great after 40+ years. Wouldn't replace it.
