Has anyone built one of thier rifle kit?, real sweat prices and fairally quick service, how was the stock? any problems with inletting? and how was the overall workmanship , or was the prices to good to be true. bb75
 
The only thing I didn't like about their stocks is that they don't drill the ramrod hole to full depth.

At least, on the Pre-carve I got from them, they had drilled the ramrod hole about 2 inches deep from the outside. Then they used an end mill to mill the rest of the length of the channel from the barrel channel side.

IMO, this removes a lot of wood in a already flimsy area.
I have seen several posts about repairing this method to restore some of the stocks original strength.
This usually envolves closing off the top of the channel with a glued in piece of wood. This glue in must be a close fit to the stock wood or it will be weak and not provide the needed strength.

Other than this, IMO, their products are good.
 
Actually, you can turn this to your advantage if you seal of your ramrod so it does not stick and then glass bed that area.

A friend did that for one of mine when I complained about it.
