I have a set of Texas longhorns my son gave me before I moved out of Texas.
They measure 24-25 inches along the horn. They should make a very large powder horn.
They are not sanded and smooth, they will require some work. I was hoping to trade for a usable powder horn, and maybe a
Priming horn or maybe other. Thank you all for looking.
FYI, this is a legit offer.

I don't know how many of you fellows know this or not but you can make a tap and die from a bolt and a nut. I used a 3/4" bolt and nut . I cut grooves in both I threaded both the plug and the hole worked good and allows me to fill my horn easy and fast, just unscrew the plug! I am thinking of buying a tap and die it worked so well? It isn't as clean of threads as I would prefer but mine has stayed put for many years. My plug is made out of Juniper and it is soft wood and doesn't thread as well as hard woods. You can't even tell it is removeable it fits so well.
