To ALL,
Can anyone give me a "point of contact" with a group that re-enacts the Texas revolutionary Period & (hopefully) is within "reasonable driving distance of" San Antonio?
(As I'm "back home" to TX & am now fully retired, I would like to join such a group.)
NOTE: 2013 was (to my knowledge) the FIRST year that Mexicans actually PARTICIPATED IN the Sunrise Memorial Service at the Alamo Shrine.
(About a dozen or so Mexican nationals, as opposed to Tejanos, were present & laid flowers at the Shrine, in memory of their families dead.= They were WARMLY WELCOMED BY the Texans/Tejanos & I overheard numerous people say after the ceremony something like: "It's about time!")
yours, satx
