I got bit by the buckskinning bug about 30 years ago and the main reason was having an excuse to make things. their is nothing quite like putting something together that you can use.

Everything in the following picure was made by my hand except the bonnet and I traded for that.

I haven't got down to making the clothes yet, but I sure relate to your compulsion. Very nice work! All you need is a rifle! :wink:

I like that belt bag- on your left(?) side, looks real nice. got a pic of that up close? what is the design on the flap? (a celtic cross?)
I'm pretty new to all this, I've only made one or two things, none of them really worth showing off at all! so seeing what is possible is really cool for me.
