I'm suffering from the lead ladle middle finger blues. I just got done with a three-hour bullet and ball casting session. I was casting Lee 220 gr. HP for my Ruger old army, when my mold got too hot I switched over to Lyman .440 round ball mold and just bounced back and forth for three hours.

Now, if you had a double cavitity mold, you could have cut your casting time in half, or increased your yeild by half and still have the lead ladle middle finger blues...

But at least it's not your trigger finger... :winking: :haha:

Guess what!?! That is my trigger finger ! lol! Saw the subject line & had to check it out lol. Had a broken index finger when Hubby wanted to teach me & so learned to shoot w/the middle trigger finger! Although it took a while to realize what he was doing to me when he'd yell out on the loading line & say "Show 'em which finger you shoot with - they don't believe me".....but it certainly never hurt accuracy!
Shoot Straight! :haha:

Ladyhawke ...shoots wif her "bird" finger.....bawhawwwwwww...hehehehe...I like that.(hope that don't ruffle no feathers...it just struck me as jocular this morning...) It's certainly better than chicken jokes! Oh, and I recon I was "jess" kidding. Should I pull the "hood" back over my head?...In England is a Nun also referred as a "bird of Pray". OK,OK, I'll hush.

No offence taken at all!! And with all the feathers (literally) in my hat - they are for ruffling lol! Lucky enough to shoot ok (1st women to qualify for the Pa. Flintlock Team), but its the laughter & fun & You Just Know I get so much ribbing 'bout flippin' the targets off! :haha:

When Ladyhawk goes after quail or ducks with a smoothbore she gives new meaning to the term "Bird Hunting"!!! :: ::
