Threaded breech plug

I took off the threaded breech plug on a t/c bbl that a guy gave to me because it was pretty beat up and rusted and had a brush broke off the ramrod inside.When i re-screwed back into the bbl..the flats are a lil off tiny bit..I was thinking of semi permanent lock tight. to keep it true..ANY BODY know any tricks..thank you

lined rightup as the same way that they came off ..Almost just a 1/6 too far from alignment

Back it off to line it up and leave it.

or lightly peen both mating faces, barrel and plug .
