Guys, I just received from Green River Rifle Works in South Australia a nylon bore brush & cotton swab, manufactured by Hoppes. The threads are different to the ones on my rods (3/16").
Anyone know the thread size on the new ones?? They look close to 6mm metric or maybe 1/4"unf.
Will make an adapter up at work when I know the thread size. :hmm:
Cheers, Smokey.

Generally the standard thread sizes are 8/32 and 10/32 then you move up to the larger shotgun size thread which I'm not sure of. On a different note, when you sellect a brush or what knot for your muzzle loader be sure to get one that has the twist wire going thru the threaded part and not simply crimped in place. If you get the crimped one it'll come out as sure as the sun will rise in the East.

I splurged and bought a few too, I splurged on a couple adapters that go between and it's made me more popular {every one wants to borrow one} most of the stuff I use is 8/32 or 10/32 so I have adapters that go each way. And I have two of each. I keep them in an old brass box, and when I'm at a shoot I open that brass box up and other shooters always say "wow" with delight in thier eyes
