A new haversack style forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrement. The distressed and aged body of the bag is made from a striped ticking and fully lined with an interior pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is brain tanned deer leather featuring the Heart of Oak folk poem. The strap is handwoven from hemp cordage. The bag measures 10x12 with a 50”handwoven strap. This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
