I found the perfect patch for my gun, it's a green stripped ticking that's .0075 thick compressed. I bought it at Dixons muzzleloading fair almost 3 years ago.

I think it was from rush creek roundball, but not sure. I bought from 10 tables or more that day.

Is there a good source for several types of ticking.

The gun is shooting cloverleaf groups at 100. I'd love to find that material. I don't thonks it's rare, but I can't find it in a store local to me

Don't limit yourself to looking for "Green" color or even just ticking,
Denim fabric is available with wide choices of thickness and is just as tight a weave as ticking.

go to your nearest fabric store with your mics. or calibers. do some measuring and get all you want. I have shot some with green or red stripes. right now I am using blue stripe.
