I built an English officer s fusel on a precarve I got from Susie at MLBS. It had the ramrod hole routed from the inside. I don't like this, but it does guarantee where the hole is. I insertd a dowell in the rout, set a piece of poster board over it and glass bedded the barrel up to the thimble area. Worked fine, but you also have to drill or dig out at the breech area a tad to get a deep enough ramrod set. Other than that, I was well pleased with the stock, so maybe I will consider going this way again. Thanks, all who replied.
