MSH,
Does the Bobcat barrel just drop in the Hawken stock? Or did you have to do any modifications?

Good luck this season. I hope you will bag those 3 bucks and 3 does.

You can buy a wood stocked Bobcat I know. Whether it would fit into the Hawkins stock is another question.

Mississippi Hunter.
I an just North of you. We are blessed with a quota hunt this year of three does per day for the duration of the season and we have taken all we can eat in the first week. I hope your season is just as good. I took my first with a Armisport 1842 Springfield smoothbore reproduction. My son took his first , he is thirteen, with my old Euroarms Remmington 1862 "Z" reproduction. I finished the total with the Blue Ridge .50 flinter. We are now trophy hunting and letting the ladies walk. I thank God :master: :master: for where I live and what he has blessed me with. I wish you the same luck.
