I shot my homemade pistol today, and was very pleased with the results. I want some feedback on my accuracy...I'm curious if this is up to par with other shooter's expectations. the group on the left measures 6-1/8 x 4-1/2 and was shot at 23 yards with a six o'clock hold, 11 shots without swabing. I used 20 grs of goex 3f, .018 wal-mart pillow ticking lubed with olive oil, & .490 ball cast from wheel wieghts. the pistol is 9 1/2 inches of a lyman trade rifle barrel, stock from TOW and T/C lock with a sear spring from a pen to lighten the trigger pull. besides more practice, what can I do, or is this good?
BTW- the right hand target was shot with .015 oxyoke patches before the trigger mod. I put hat pic up just to show the pistol off!
