I'm planning on ordering a Kibbler southern mountain kit in cherry. I finally got my finishing system down.
The specs state a 13 3/4" pull and 46" barrel, but I can't find total length. Can somebody out there measure the length of their finished rifle a tell me what it is?

That’ll be one red rifle.

I can’t say I understand when folks take a beautiful piece of natural cherry and stain it to look like Wal-Mart desk furniture. Cherry will age into a gorgeous red brown color in little time when exposed to sunlight and time.

What I’m getting at is you can use a less expensive wood if all someone plans on doing is covering up the appearance of the wood completely.

I love his kits from what i hear and see. but they are just to long for me. I couldn't get it in my truck! i called and asked his wife if they could make a shorter one and she said no everything was set up for the length they have, and she said Jim had a hard time getting them in his truck! LOL,,I sure wish he offered a shorter rifle,,,,,,,,,

I'd like one of the Kibler SMR and the only problem I have with the kits is the 13.75" lop. I can make myself deal with it but a plain 13" works fine.

Hi all, I spoke with Katherine yesterday and she confirmed the new GM barrels are 44” 😢 was really looking forward to a 46” BUT I have a .36 on order!!

The cherry test board is "aged" with lye (easy off oven cleaner) for 10-30 minutes, wiped off, then a coat of linseed oil.
