Check out the flint double on TOTW's site! It's under the "Flintlock smooth bore" section. Lord have mercy!!! :shocking: :master: :shocking: :master:

Interesting- heavy Germanic styling - parallel locks detract some- but perhaps are PC, I don't know. Unless the breeches are cut for taper inlet locks, the panels become VERY wide at the rear, unbecoming to the styling. The engraving is nice, along with the carving, but those lock panels kinda kill it for me. Thats just a personal thing from me - but if you like it, that's GREAT!!!
; I prefer the Tulle' and the bottom gun, but not the hooked underbelly of the bottom - good and bad, but over all looks plus the Bottom gun has the nicest lock and lock panels. Looks like something Taylor would have made, instyling and engraving- lovely.

Sure could've cut out some weight and width by tapering the locks like the English style usually found. To bad that TOW had to delete the section they used to have up with the photos up of the sold guns. It sure was a great asset for showing styles. One of the English style double flinters they had I was lucky enough to own for a while. Those guns sure looked less 'clunky' with the tapered back locks. :m2c:
