touch hole liner

Hello in the camp. I have a .62 cal. trade gun that has a 1/4x28 touch hole liner. I was digging around my parts bin and found a touch hole liner but the touch hole measures
.076 would that be to large? Or should I trash it? I mainly use ffg. powder Thanks for all knowledge and advice Pioneer flinter.

Your touch hole is pretty close to 5/64". While that is on the top side of a touch hole, it is not really oversized.

IMO, on a gun that is .54 caliber or larger a .076 diameter touch hole is just about the right size.
