Touch hole screw

Hello, does anyone happen to know the thread size of a touch hole screw for a jakar .45 caliber muzzleloading rifle? Thank you

Most likely metric. You will probably have to remove it to check. You will have to remove it to replace anyhow.

I converted one many years ago from cap to flint. It is metric, sorry I don't know the size. I couldn't find one (no internet then) so I got a metric bolt and made one from it.

CVA were 10-32 , see if you can find a 10-32 bolt and try it.

If you can get the screw out take it to Ace hardware. They have boards to check metric and inch type threads.

Hardware store can be your friend. A machinist with thread gages can measure for you also.

Thread gages are inexpensive. Every gun enthusiast should have one in standard and metric.
