I bought a used gun from TOW. I've never received anything packaged so well. The closest has been from forum member AZ Muzzleloaders.

Yep. They ship and receive a lot of guns and, I'm sure, they do not want unfortunate surprises. I have sold through them. They send a packing box to the seller so they can ship to TOW with confidence it will arrive safely.

Never had a problem with TOW until the last two orders, parts.

One I received a part that was wrong but the bag was labeled correctly. They sent me a replacement no questions asked, which I appreciate, but it was the time wasted.

Two, I reordered a cast part that I had just ordered this spring, and although they were similar in appearance, the second part didn't match the size of the first part by about 2 inches in length and way too little in width. I couldn't use it despite being the same exact part number that was the first part. I ended up searching several vendors for an exact match and finally found one at MBS.

So, I'm not as confident with Track as I once was.......

My only complaint with ToW really isn't with them, but their local mail system. They ship promptly, but, according to the USPS tracking, the package will sit in St. Paul for 3 to 7 days before finally making its way through the rest of the postal system. I'm still waiting for a nose cap that was shipped 2 weeks ago.

🥴,
Sorry to hear about that,, but it ain't just the "local mail"!
I recently bought an item from a guy in Texas,, straight shot up I-35 to Minn,, you'd think short an sweet.
It went to Kansas City, then St Louis, then Chicago, then Mpls,, all before I got it 3 weeks after it was sent!
I understand that USPS only raised shipping rates because their trying to save money by streamlining shipments,,
Good luck,,
