What all is involed in building pistol from Trad Hunter pistol kit? Is all the inlet work done, etc??

If you're referring to the Traditions Trapper kit, I recently finished one. The kit is fully inletted and drilled. The holes were quite accurately drilled and needed no adjustment, but the metal to wood fit needed a bit of work. Nothing major. Overall, it was quite an easy kit to build and the results were good. It's a pretty accurate gun too once I started using an overpowder wad to end the blown patches.

Appreciate info. Is the kit worth building for the 30 -40 dollar difference.??

No, it's not. Not unless you just enjoy the build. Just trying to get the white wood stock to take an even stain, would have made it worth paying the difference to get it prebuilt.

I feel the same way about a lot of the factory kits though. I think I saved a whopping $35 on the Investarms Hawken kits I bought. I only bought kits to gain experience, hopefully to help me on my way to building more advanced ones some day.
