anyone here been to the pre 1840 trade fair at canters caves in jackson ohio? do they usualy have lead and powder at these things?

I've not been to that one, but I was at the Old Time Fair in Xenia. That one is still a few weeks away. The one in Xenia did have a good amount of sellers including some with lead but no powder. They also had some great door prizes!!!

I've been to it, you can probably find lead, but a lot of fairs do not allow powder sales.If your not in a hurry and can travel I would suggest the Fremont trade fair. Still no powder sales but a lot bigger. Theres an Amish gun shop in Sugar Creek that sells Goex cheap, PM me if you want the address, they don't have a phone or a computer! :haha:

It's been a couple of years since I've been to Canter's Cave. I'm going this year though. One year they had quite a few traders then another year hardley any. I heard last years was pretty good though. Hey Stumblin wolf, in regards to the amish gunshop How cheap on the powder??
