I met a gentleman at the local gunshow looking to trade a new Vincent style rifle. He was an elderly fella and said he’d never fired the rifle. Said it was too heavy. It’s a 45 roundball gun. Should be fun.

Yep, Bo Mar sight. That looks like a very nice rifle, beautifully put together. From the one photo, it appears to have T/C-type sights. Not traditional, but in my opinion these can provide a very good sight picture. Your rifle should be a real shooter!
Thanks for showing it!

Congrats that sure is a real beauty! I'd like to trade into something like that at our local GS.I met a gentleman at the local gunshow looking to trade a new Vincent style rifle. I knew that was a BoMar. Have one on an unmentionable. Great sight. Great rifle!Yep, Bo Mar sight.
It cost me a nice Single 6. The Ruger may have been worth more but I like the rifle and flask.

I would rather have the rifle and flask, too. I don’t know what a Single Six is worth these days, and prices for used muzzleloaders are all over the place, but I believe a new custom built rifle of that quality from a reputable builder would cost you a bit north of $2K. I think you did well.It cost me a nice Single 6. The Ruger may have been worth more but I like the rifle and flask.
